About Desi Strong 8th Annual Run/Walk 4 Kids 5K
Saturday, February 28th, 2026 Registration starts at 6:30am 5k starts at 8am Rancho Mirage Community Park Certified Chip Timed Course. The Run/Walk 4 Kids is a fun filled, family and pet friendly event. Admission into the event is free with a minimal donation requested to participate in the 5K. The Family Bubble Run will kick off immediately after completion of the 5K. Why We Walk Until we achieve a cure, our efforts will ensure these families receive the comfort, relief, support and fun to help them in the ultimate fight against these diseases. Please join our foundations in the fight to CURE Pediatric Cancer and other serious illnesses. The Desi Strong Foundation is geared to help children facing cancer feel that love & support that Desi was so graciously granted. Together we will fight this beast called Childhood Cancer & help fund for a cure. We can’t all be doctors or cancer researchers or caregivers, but walking with us can raise the money that makes their work possible. And in the meantime, help children and their families feel the love while they fight these horrible diseases. There are various levels of sponsorship available for the 5K and Kids Fun Run. As you will see, each sponsor will be highly visible in many aspects of the event. We hope that you will consider sponsoring our race.
